A spying Trojan for Microsoft Windows devices. Written in Python. It is a further evolution of Trojan.PWS.Stealer.23370.
In the root directory of the C drive, it creates three folders with arbitrary names up to 8, 12 and 27 symbols respectively. The Trojan saves its operation results there. It uses the ifconfig.co service to obtain an IP address of an infected device. For an additional logging of the infected device’s IP address, it sends a request to the URL https://enot272.neocities.org/IPLogger-output.txt. It compares IP addresses obtained from ifconfig.co and enot272.neocities.org. If the address obtained via ifconfig.co is the same as one from the address list stored on enot272.neocities.org, it shuts down. It checks the file C:\\Documents and Settings\\Administrator\\Desktop\\my.txt for availability. If the file exists, it also shuts down.
The Trojan steals information stored by the following browsers: Vivaldi, Chrome, Yandex.Browser, Opera, Kometa, Orbitum, Comodo, Amigo, and Torch. In addition, it steals data from the following folders from the current Windows user’s folder:
\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\User Data\ \AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\ \AppData\Local\Yandex\YandexBrowser\User Data\ \AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\ \AppData\Local\Kometa\User Data\ \AppData\Local\Orbitum\User Data\ \AppData\Local\Comodo\Dragon\User Data\ \AppData\Local\Amigo\User\User Data\ \AppData\Local\Torch\User Data\
The stolen information is saved to the files “ChromiumLogins.txt” and “ChromiumCookies.txt” that are packed into the archive “<IP>.logs.zip”, where <IP> is the IP address of the infected device.
The Trojan also steals SSFN files and all files from the subfolder “config” of the Steam client’s folder. These files are packed into the archive “Steam.zip”.
The Trojan copies all files from the folder %APPDATA%\Roaming\Telegram Desktop\tdata with the names beginning with D877F783D5D3EF8C; from the subfolder D877F783D5D3EF8C it copies file, the name of which begins with “map”. If this operation cannot be performed, the Trojan reads the value of the default key in the system registry branch [HKCU\Software\Classes\tdesktop.tg\DefaultIcon] in order to obtain a path to Telegram.exe, then it copies files from the application folder. The stolen files are packed into the archive Teleg.zip.
It copies Desktop files with the following extensions: TXT, PDF, JPG, PNG, XLS, DOC, DOCX, SQLITE, DB, SQLITE3, BAK, SQL, XML. Along with other archives, the Trojan puts them into the archive with browser passwords and loads to the pcloud.com account registered by cybercriminals.
