To ensure autorun and distribution:
Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\{GUGFNC0E-Y612-6QXQ-SYQ8-J5F8Y07O7AY2}] 'StubPath' = '"%APPDATA%\Host.exe"'
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'svchost.exe' = '%APPDATA%\Host.exe'
Malicious functions:
Executes the following:
- '%APPDATA%\Host.exe' "<Full path to file>"
Modifies file system:
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\.Identifier
- %APPDATA%\Host.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- %APPDATA%\.Identifier
Deletes itself.
Network activity:
Connects to:
- 'ib####.duckdns.org':1444
UDP:
- DNS ASK ib####.duckdns.org
