- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Windows Update' = '%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows Update.exe'
Malicious functions:
Executes the following:
- '%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows Update.exe' "<Full path to file>"
Modifies file system:
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\Microsoft\.Identifier
- %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows Update.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- %APPDATA%\Microsoft\.Identifier
Deletes itself.
Network activity:
Connects to:
- '15#.#6.49.181':80
