Malicious functions:
To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '%TEMP%\directx.exe' = '%TEMP%\directx.exe:*:Enabled:directx.exe'
Creates and executes the following:
- '%TEMP%\directx.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "%TEMP%\directx.exe" "directx.exe" ENABLE
Modifies file system:
Creates the following files:
- %TEMP%\directx.exe
Network activity:
Connects to:
- 'la###i.ddns.net':5500
UDP:
- DNS ASK la###i.ddns.net
