- [\REGISTRY\USER\S-1-5-19\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Mozilla' = 'rundll32.exe "<LS_APPDATA>\VMware\Mozilla\dlbwy.dll",DllRegisterServerW'
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Mozilla' = 'rundll32.exe "<LS_APPDATA>\VMware\Mozilla\dlbwy.dll",DllRegisterServerW'
Malicious functions:
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\rundll32.exe' "<LS_APPDATA>\VMware\Mozilla\dlbwy.dll",DllRegisterServerW
- '<SYSTEM32>\rundll32.exe' "%TEMP%\ilomyyivqo.tmp\dlbwy.dll",DllRegisterServer
Terminates or attempts to terminate
the following user processes:
- firefox.exe
Modifies file system:
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\cwdgt0y8.default\extensions\cjacmycnqj@cjacmycnqj.org.xpi
- <LS_APPDATA>\VMware\Mozilla\dlbwy.dll
- %TEMP%\nsj2.tmp
Deletes the following files:
- %TEMP%\ilomyyivqo.tmp\dlbwy.dll
