Malicious functions:
To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '%APPDATA%\googl.exe' = '%APPDATA%\googl.exe:*:Enabled:googl.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "%APPDATA%\googl.exe" "googl.exe" ENABLE
Modifies file system:
Creates the following files:
- %TEMP%\aut1.tmp
- %TEMP%\WinUpdat.exe
- %TEMP%\aut2.tmp
- %TEMP%\WinUpdat.vbs
- %APPDATA%\googl.exe
Deletes the following files:
- %TEMP%\aut1.tmp
- %TEMP%\aut2.tmp
Network activity:
Connects to:
- 'an####stro.ddns.net':1177
UDP:
- DNS ASK an####stro.ddns.net
Miscellaneous:
Creates and executes the following:
- '%TEMP%\WinUpdat.exe'
- '<SYSTEM32>\wscript.exe' "%TEMP%\WinUpdat.vbs"
- '%APPDATA%\googl.exe'
