Malicious functions:
To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '%TEMP%\win11.exe' = '%TEMP%\win11.exe:*:Enabled:win11.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram \"C:\\Documents and Settings\\%USERNAME%\\Local Settings\\Temp\\win11.exe\" \"win11.exe\" ENABLE
Modifies file system:
Creates the following files:
- %TEMP%\win11.exe
Network activity:
Connects to:
- 'ki####sdf.hopto.org':1177
UDP:
- DNS ASK ki####sdf.hopto.org
Miscellaneous:
Creates and executes the following:
- '%TEMP%\win11.exe' and Settings\\%USERNAME%\\Local Settings\\Temp\\win11.exe\"
