- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\{8HLw8CE4-1J1v-c4D1-LK9K-0431yA6j48g4}] 'stubpath' = '%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows Firewall\WIN32.exe'
Malicious functions
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
blocks the following features:
- System Restore (SR)
Modifies file system
Creates the following files
- %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows firewall\win32.exe
- C:\users\jared\appdata\roaming\microsoft\local\svchost.exe
- %TEMP%\startup simg.jpeg
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files
- %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows firewall\win32.exe
- C:\users\jared\appdata\roaming\microsoft\local\svchost.exe
